This winter we had an exceptional amount of snow and although the snow in town has been gone for more than a month, the mountains are still getting a lot of snow. There is still about 140″ of snow on the mountains. That should help us this summer during fire season and it will keep the mountains looking beautiful a little later into the summer.

Lovely shot….but what is snow? Joking, we do know what it is but this year we have seen only one small flurry. It has been a very odd mild winter and so far spring is presenting even more strange happenings. 🙂
Same for us. We had record amounts of snow this winter. So much that roofs were damaged and some even collapsed. Our spring has been much cooler than normal and we’re all waiting for some warmer spring-like weather. The forecasters are promising us warmer weather next week. We’ll see.
