On our drive back from Jasper, we came across two groups of mountain sheep walking among the rocks by the road. Following is a short 8 second video of mountain sheep on the Columbia Icefields Parkway.

My father had a favourite rhyme for us when we were children. It went:
The mountain sheep are leaner
The valley sheep are fatter
We therefore deemed meeter
To carry off the latter.
Your mountain sheep were definitely very lean. I enjoyed the pictures.
Thanks for sharing the rhyme. I hadn’t heard that one before. They were quite lean, but I guess having to survive in the wild would make them lean.
