While doing some work outside today, I heard the very distinctive call of a hawk nearby. I located it on the top of a tree in my neighbor’s yard. For about 10 minutes it soared overhead landing on various trees. Raptors are my favorite birds and it was a thrill for me to watch this bird for a few minutes.
