We have more hummingbirds this year than we have the last few years and they are getting used to people being around. I can get closer this year than I could in the past before they are scared off. Sometimes if I’m working in the yard they’ll buzz my head.

They do that a lot; drink, look up to see if you’re any closer, drink, look to see if you’re any closer, drink, and so on.
