I sometimes feel like I’m living in the middle of the wilderness with all the critters we have passing through our yard. This mama raccoon was walking through our yard, probably in search of food. I don’t usually see them during the day but she was pretty bold.

It always worries me a bit when I see raccoons in the daytime (unless very early morning or late evening) as I’m concerned about them being sick.
That one, to me, looks a bit run down . . . then again, that happens to human parents as well.
Just be careful.

I knew most of that, including the ‘don’t approach or feed’.
That goes for all wild animals, something most people forget.
