This starling (I think that’s what it is) took over a hole that a northern flicker made a couple of weeks ago. It seems to have made it home.

Yep, it’s a starling. You’re showing one of the reasons they aren’t liked as an introduced (invasive) species.
It certainly looks just like one of our starlings.
