Posted on February 1, 2015 by Tuxedo Sophisticated CatSwans There are three swans that live on the river where I walk. Most of the time they are on the opposite side of the river from the trail but this past week they came much closer. They are such beautiful birds. Very nice reflection shots . . . and they are mean birds; killers! http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-17736292 Reply
These guys know how to make beautiful reflections!
Thankfully I had some calm water to capture the reflection.
Are they trumpeter swans?
They are so majestic!
I’m not sure what kind of swans they are. But they are very majestic.

Thanks for the link. I’d heard they can be pretty vicious but who knew they could kill people.
The reflection on the neck in the first image is just the business
Thank you Scott.
So pure, white and graceful, always a joy to capture swans. Great reflections shots!
