I saw this unusual succulent at the Alii Kula Lavender Farm on Maui when we were there in November. It appeared almost black although it was actually a very deep purple. They offered to give me a cutting of it but I didn’t think it would make it through agriculture customs at the airport. They’re pretty strict about not letting any foreign plants in our out of the islands. But I still have the photos of them.
