Yesterday was a milestone post – my 1,000th post in the 2-1/2 years of my blog. So today I start on the next thousand. 🙂
I just returned from a visit to my hometown where I grew up in northern Minnesota – Grand Marais – on the shores of beautiful Lake Superior. It has a very special place in my heart no matter where I may be living, it will always be home.
Here is one shot that I took with my iPhone. I used the HDR pro app and because there were people walking, one person looks like a ghost.
I haven’t had time to process any of the other photos but will be sharing them as I process them.

Grand Marais is definitely the most wonderful hometown that there is. It’s something how much most of us probably took Lake Superior for granted when growing up. It now draws us back more than ever. How many people have that beautiful large body of water right at their doorstep for all to share? Congrats. on #1,000!
