I’ve only been to Las Vegas a few times and have never been through any of the theme resorts. This time we spent several hours at The Venetian.
Walking through the canal shopping area reminded me a little of the real Venice. And the nice thing was it was all indoors, yet had an outdoor feel.

You’re making me want to take a trip out there. I was there briefly with my family on our way to California, and later with my son, again on our way to California. I never went through any of the theme hotels. Next time.
When I go back next time, there are several other resorts I didn’t get to see that I would like to visit. New York, New York is one of them.
I don’t think the Venetian was there the last time we were there. I’ll be going for Photoshop World and may have time to take in the sights.
Wonderful shots.
I went to Photoshop World last year and loved it. I wish I could go again this year . . . maybe next year. 🙂
Which track did you choose? I’m boggling at the choices!
I just went to whatever class interested me every hour. It was a little overwhelming. Information overload. But I learned a lot.
Great images, Maralee. Another fun area to photograph in Vegas is the old Fremont St area and the Neon Boneyard.
I didn’t get a chance to get down there this trip. Next time, though. 🙂
For a while, I thought it was really Venice. I haven’t been to Vegas. Great photos, as usual.
Vegas is an interesting place to go. Sort of sensory overload. Next time I will go when it’s a little cooler and I can get out and take more photos.
Such nice light!
Thank you, Lilly.
Wonderful collection of photos. I have never been to Las Vegas but plan to at some point. Your photos make me want to go now.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
It is a very interesting city. You see all kinds there. About 3 days at a time is my limit but it’s fun for those 3 days. 🙂
Isn’t this a great hotel? I stayed there once and loved it.
