Several years ago, we took a bike trip through the Provence region of France. One of the places we biked to was the hill town of Le Baux de Provence. It was quite a hill to bike up but worth every drop of sweat along the way. I loved this little sign in the door of one of the restaurants advertising what I think is a bull-fight in the town of Nimes.
Along our bike routes we would see signs advertising cheese for sale, spices for sale, among other things. These were a couple more signs along the way.

I agree. As much as I’d love to spend a few days in Paris to see the sights, I’d want to get out of there and into the country as soon as possible.
I’m with you … Paris is a beautiful, but that is it.
