I didn’t have a lot of time to do my photos tonight, but I did manage to do a little light painting on one of my masks. I had planned to do it with candles in the background, but my candles were too tall and it looked weird. When I have more time, I may experiment with it a little more. So tonight I just have this one photo.

Great shot … love Venetian mask’s, maybe a bit too dark .. so see the mask in its all beauty.
Thanks, Viveka. I was using a flashlight for the light painting and had trouble getting the light just how I wanted it. Maybe it was because it was late and I was just too tired to spend too much time on it. 🙂
I understood you where in a bit of a rush .. personal I don’t think flashlights makes photos very good – but I have a small camera and the flash is too close to the lens – so it’s getting to sharp and lite up. The front (face) of mask is beautiful – only a pity that the silhouette of the mask don’t show. You have to do it again.
I visited Venice some 10 years ago and was captivated by these masks – the dark framing works well for me
Thank you, Scott. I’d love to go to Venice during Carnival some time. I think that would be quite an experience.
Unusual and striking! 🙂
Thank you, Zelmare.
