For the past 11 years, we have been getting together with two other couples for a “country club” dinner one day each month. We pick a country out of an envelope and plan our meals around that particular country. The host couple prepares the main dish, once couple prepares a side dish and bring the wine and the other the dessert. We don’t let each other know what we are preparing.
Tonight the country was Italy and it was at our house. We get together mainly for the joy of sharing each other’s company, but the food is always good.
The main dish was a Braciole, side dish Gnocchi with Gorgonzola Sauce, and Cannoli’s for dessert. It was wonderful.
These photos were just taken with my little “point-and-shoot” camera. I wanted to spend my energy with our company rather than setting up to take photos.
A good time was had by all.
