We had quite a heavy snowfall yesterday which makes for a beautiful white Christmas. It was a nice wet snow which was very good for making a snowman. Haven't made one in years. But it cleared late in the day ad we had a gorgeous sunset.
Lots of Snow
I wasn't sure if we were going to make it out of town today. We were under a severe winter weather warning. After an hour of de-icing we made it to our first stop. Missed our connecting flight but were able to get onto another flight. Maralee
First Snow
We made a trip over the mountain this weekend to do a photo shoot of some friends. Â The weather forecast was for snow on the mountain pass coming home yesterday and this time the weather forecasters were right. Â Winter is definitely on its way. Maralee
Farm Country
While I was in Minnesota, they were in the midst of another "polar vortex." Â Eight of the ten days I was the temperatures were below zero. Â A little too cold for me to be out taking photos. Â But I did take a couple of the frozen farms as we passed them by. Maralee
And it Just Kept Coming
The snow didn't let up yesterday. Â The three-day snowfall brought record amounts of snow to our area. Â I spent 3 hours shoveling the 2 foot snow in my driveways and only made it 1/3 of the way through. Â Fortunately, a very kind neighbor plowed us out last night with his snowplow.
