Last night was the full snow moon and since it was the first time we've seen the full moon in several months, I forced myself to go and photograph it. It was a beautiful, but chilly evening. On one side we had the beautiful moon rise, and on the other side a fiery sunset. Maralee

This was taken on one of my late afternoon walks, just prior to sunset. I liked the storm clouds in the distance and how the sun was hitting Bessie Butte in the distance. Maralee

We were visiting some friends around sunset last night and it was a beautiful one. I only had my iPhone with me and not much time to really get a good composition, but it sure was a pretty evening. Be safe this New Year's Eve. Maralee
Ice
On Friday we had a lot of heavy, wet snow. Once it stopped, it cleared up, got very cold, and everything froze. I took a walk just before sunset and photographed some of the frozen ice on the trees. While it was difficult to walk on the icy pathways, it was very pretty. Maralee

We had another beautiful sunset last night. After all the rain we had last month, there was a huge puddle of water in the field across the street from where we live. It made for a nice reflection. Maralee
