Scrub Jay – Day 49 – A Year of Wildlife

We have a lot of scrub jays around here and I don't normally seek them out to photograph them. But this one just sat and waited for me to take its photo. Maralee
The scrub jay is a very common bird around here. I see them chasing other birds away from the feeder, in the trees, bushes . . . just about everywhere. They have a very raucous voice and most times can be heard before they are seen. Maralee
