When I was in elementary school in Minnesota, many, many years ago, we used to paint cattails. They grew wild just about everywhere. Now you're not allowed to cut them, but I still appreciate them. Now that I'm living in Oregon, seeing all of these cattails bring back a little bit of that childhood. Maralee

I took these photos about a year ago on a flight from Bend to Salt Lake City. We were on the first flight of the morning and were able to catch the sunrise from the air. It seemed like I could see forever from up there. Maralee

This is the last of this segment from the bouquet my co-worked got. I like roses, but they're not my favorite flower. But these had such a beautiful color shading that I really liked these. Maralee

The Alstroemeria is not one of my favorite flowers. But it was part of the bouquet my co-worker received so I took a couple of photos of it. When you get really close, it isn't so bad. 🙂 Maralee
