The world as I see it
While driving through the Yellowstone Bear World a few years ago, we came across this bear scratching it's back against a tree. It was timed perfectly for us - the car in front of us was too early and the car behind us was too late . . . we were just right. Maralee

This was taken a few years ago at Yellowstone Bear World (not to be confused with Yellowstone National Park). I had been watching this peacock for a while hoping it would fan its feathers and just as we were about to leave, it did. Maralee
I went down to the river for the first time since I started having ankle problems and there were a couple of killdeer on the mud flats. I heard them before I ever saw them. They have a very distinct voice. Maralee
