This spider, grasshopper, or whatever it is , that I presumed was dead, was caught in a web outside my house. I think it's pretty creepy. Maralee
Sunset
We had a cooler and cloudier weekend over Labor Day but it made for some nice sunset photos. I took this with my iPhone while out for an evening walk. Maralee
Smile
I had to smile when I saw these geese flying. I didn't notice the "smile" until I was working on them in post. There were actually 5 geese in the original photo but I cropped it so just these three were showing. Maralee
Good Morning Sunshine
With the days getting shorter and the sunrise being later in the morning, most of my morning walks start before the sun comes up. As hard as it is to get up in the dark to get out and go for my walk, I do get to see some beautiful sunrises. Maralee
Hummingbird
The days and nights are getting cooler and the hummingbirds are getting more scarce. They're still around but not in the numbers I was seeing all summer. Usually we see the last of the hummingbirds in the first part of October. I will miss them over the winter.
