Weathered: Old Homestead This is a photo I took a few years ago of an old homestead outside of Madras, Oregon. We would pass by it whenever we were driving to Portland. Sadly, the building is no longer there. It collapsed sometime in the last year.
A Frosty Day
Although we haven't had any snow yet this year, we've had a few days of freezing fog which makes for some beautiful winter scenes. These are from a walk at different points in the river this morning. Maralee

Sunset on the River
I went for a late afternoon walk along the river yesterday and the sky showed signs of a beautiful sunset. So, I waited around for a bit and I'm glad I did. It was a beautiful sunset. Maralee
