There have been fewer and fewer cedar wax wings visiting us recently but we had a few in our tree this weekend. Maralee
Soaring
I always enjoy watching the birds soar overhead. The last couple of days our weather has varied from sunny to cloudy and back to sunny. Â And the birds were enjoying the thermals. Maralee

The Masked Bandits Return
Around this time every spring, the Cedar Wax Wings return to the area. Â I've been watching for them and they finally arrived last week. I think they are such gorgeous birds. Maralee
Quail
We've had a single quail hanging out at around the house the last few days. Â I don't know where the rest of his family is - I hope nothing bad happened to them. Maralee
