I believe this is a tree swallow. I see them everywhere lately. They are very fast when they're flying. I love their coloring. Maralee

Friday morning, mom was at the nest feeding the owlets. I'm not sure what kind of critter it was but probably some type of rodent. Maralee
Testing the Wings
One of the owlets was testing out its wings this morning while little sibling was watching. Both owlets were out of the nest on a branch. I don't think it will be long before they start flying. Maralee
Owls are Back
The owl couple came back to the park this year and have some new little ones. I caught one of them peeking out of its nest while mom and dad looked on from above. The area is fenced off so people don't get too close, but I will be going back to get more glimpses of …
Bird ID??
I need help identifying this bird. I tried to Google it but was surprised at how many birds there are with yellow bellies, dark crown and dark wing. I thought maybe an American Goldfinch but I'm not sure. Anyone know? Maralee
