Don’t Bother Me
Our office kitty, Miranda, has taken over my desk. It's a perfect spot for her to watch the birds outside my window. But it is an exhausting job and she must have her naps. Maralee
He’s Baaaaaack
The poor birds and critters are quite confused. They can't figure out if it's winter or spring. With our spring-like weather, they've been very active at the bird feeder. Our resident squirrel has learned some new acrobatic tricks since last summer. Maralee
The Buck Stops Here
This fellow was visiting our yard yesterday afternoon. He's injured - one back leg is broken and he's getting around on 3 legs. That's not unusual in this area when wildlife live within the city. But it's very sad, to me. Maralee

Took another walk at the park today . . . still enjoying the incredible autumn we're having. The squirrels in the park generally avoid people as much as possible and this one climbed the tree when he saw me. But he stopped to eat and I think he thought I couldn't see him any more. …
