I saw this little bird at the part the other day and didn't know what it was. Â I figured someone in the blogesphere would know. Â It had a blue/black body and a rust colored head. Â Any ideas? Maralee
More Tweeters
I've really been enjoying the birds this spring. Â Sometimes they seem to be trying to tell you something. Â Sometimes they just can't be bothered with you. Maralee
The Birds Do It . . .
It is spring and a time when thoughts turn to love . . . at least it seemed so with these two little birdies. Believe it or not, both birds were about the same size. Â I think the back one was just puffing himself up to impress the lady. Maralee
Quail Run
I think the quail are one of the most interesting looking birds out there. Â They can't fly very well but boy can they run. Â I've seen a few quail around our yard recently and I don't think it will be long before we see them with a dozen or so babies running after them. Maralee
As the Crow Flies
I took these photos of a rather large crow when I was out walking today. Â They were rather uninteresting to I applied some effects using NIK Software. Maralee
