I went to check on the owl family on Friday and baby was sitting on a branch sleeping. It was just a ball of fuzz so I didn't get any decent photos, but mom or dad was vigilantly standing watch over the little one. Maralee

Bird ID??
I need help identifying this bird. I tried to Google it but was surprised at how many birds there are with yellow bellies, dark crown and dark wing. I thought maybe an American Goldfinch but I'm not sure. Anyone know? Maralee
