I went back to the river on Saturday and trying to be inconspicuous amongst the duck colony was this ring-billed gull. I understand that they are a very common bird, but this was the first time I've seen one this far inland. Maralee

There is an area on the river where the ducks like to congregate. A boardwalk allows people to walk out into the river and watch the ducks.
