Sunday night I went out in search of the full moon rising. It didn’t turn out so well. It was pretty dark by the time the moon actually rose so it was very difficult to get any background in the photo with the moon. I think Saturday night would have been a better night but we were clouded over then.
I knew the moon was going to rise near the smoke stacks at the Old Mill. This shot was taken before the moon rise. I took some shots with the moon in it but the didn’t turn out so well.
I was able to get a shot of a building silhouetted against the rising moon. Not a very good shot but it was the best I was able to get that night.

I check nearly every night, but it’s been cloudy here.
Thanks. In the summer we usually have clear skies all the time. In the winter it’s hit or miss.
