I have come across a variety of poppies on my morning walks along the river. Oriental poppies are my favorite, but I have yet to capture a photo that I really like. Maybe its the red that is so difficult to photograph.

I think it is the size of the oriental poppies that make them hard to capture satisfactorily though the red doesn’t help.
