Big Cats

These were some of the big cats at the Portland Zoo. I’m quite sure that this is the Cheetah.The tiger was napping the whole time we were there.

I’m not sure how to tell if the cat below is a leopard or a jaguar. I’m sure someone can tell me.

We didn’t get to see the lions as they were taking shelter from the rain . . . or something like that.

The main difference between jaguars and leopards is the shape of their skin spots. The one in your picture looks like a leopard. I found some intersting information about it in this link: http://blog.londolozi.com/2013/10/the-difference-between-leopard-and-jaguar/
