That must have been terrible, having to walk on a beach. Don’t they have nice concrete walkways there?
Seriously, I always preferred walking on the lava next to the sea, examining tidal pools, and hopping from rock to rock.
There were some pretty cool tidal pools along my beach walks on Maui. Not so much on Oahu.
