I haven’t had a chance to get out and photograph much recently so I’m going back in time and will show some photos from this beautiful state of Oregon.
Lovely photograph Maralee. I have always wanted to see the beauty that Oregon and Washington have to offer. The Smithsonian channel has a one hour show where they choose a state and fly over it and show you all of the sights to see. Oregon and Washington state are way up on my list of states to visit when I get the opportunity :-).
Thanks. Both Washington and Oregon are beautiful states. There is so much diversity here – from desert, mountains, ocean . . . something for everyone. I live on the high desert but at the eastern base of the Cascade Mountain range so we have spectacular mountain views yet we don’t get the moisture that the coastal areas get. I lived near water most of my life and that is the one thing I miss – being close to the ocean or lake. But, we’re only about a 4 hour drive from the coast so that is doable. I hope you get out this way sometime.
You were there on a gorgeous day!! Beautiful!
Thanks, Cee. It was one of those days when it would rain, then the sun would come out. I think all the clouds added to the scene.
Wow ! Awesome !
utham
Thank you, Utham.
A stupendous shot of the Gorge….
Thank you, Gunta.
Nice depiction/shot of the gorge. It is a true wonder of the US if not more. I grew up on the Columbia. It is like home to me.
ron
Thanks, Ron. It really is a gorgeous area. What part of the Gorge are you from?
Beautiful capture… that sky is just something else…
Thanks, Rob. It was one of those on again, off again, rainy/sunny days.
Really, wonderful! 🙂
Thank you, Zark.
Amazing shot Maralee
Thank you, David.
It works for me.
Thank you, Christine.
Been there. This is a beautiful shot.
Thank you, Lilly. Even though I’m only 150 miles away, I don’t get up to the Gorge very often, but I sure do enjoy it when I do.
