I have had an iPhone for several years now and have just learned that you can take photos using the + button. Sooooooooooooo much easier. Why didn’t anyone ever tell me that before?

Lol – so many people think that iphones are the crown of usability… 🙂
My Sony Android has got the better photo abilities and the button you can use to trigger is clearly marked with a small pictogramme. 😛
But anyway – you know it now… ;-P

Beautiful photo of Miranda! I am not a quick study. The plus button? Could you elaborate a bit for a befuddled me? I have just upgraded from a 4 to an iPhone 5s. I googled and didn’t find anything.
It’s the volume button on the side of the phone. There’s a + and -. When you go to the camera on the phone, you can use the + button to release the shutter rather than pressing the button directly on the phone. It works more like a regular camera with the + button.
I was just going to reply again that I found it! The volume up button!!!!.. 🙂 I just tried it, Yay! Thank you!

. . . you never asked . . . but I think you can turn that feature off.
