Posted on November 5, 2013 by Tuxedo Sophisticated CatBee – last of the season This bee was crawling on a comforter I had on my front porch. He wasn’t moving much – it was a bit chilly. I would have preferred if he had been sitting on a better background, but I didn’t want to attempt to move him. She knows because she has a mild interest in bees, and read something like this some time ago: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drone_(bee) . . . also because she’s not a she, but a he, and he recognizes other hes. It a useful ability as he travels about the world. Reply
