Today was a rather uninspiring day for me. I don’t know if it is the gray, cool, rainy weather or the fact that I was feeling under the weather. I had no idea what I wanted to photograph today. So when I got home from work and saw one of my snow globes, I decided I would try photograph it. I tried it with lighting but there was too much reflection from the lights. Then I tried using natural light, and that was a bit better. I still got the reflection from the sliding glass door, but there wasn’t much I could do about that.

sorry, dots …it should been – my swenglish again. *smile
Yes, that was the snow. The snow was little specs of translucent material that picked up the colors around it.
You may need to find some kind of light diffusing material.
Lovely globe.
I agree. I still have it in my plans to make a little light box, but haven’t had a chance to do it yet.
How sweet! It is such a colourful picture, just looking at it makes me feel good – hope you’re feeling better too! 🙂
Nice job on the photo. We did a whole section on photographing glass in one of my photography classes, and I remember making myself a little photo box to place the objects in, but otherwise I don’t remember a thing about it.
