My co-worker was kind enough to let me borrow her guitar so I could practice my light painting on another subject (thank you Laura).  She has a gorgeous Cort guitar which is very, very shiny.  I tried to take some photos using what little “studio” lighting I have, but there was a lot of glare coming off the guitar.  So I tried light painting again and it worked so much better.  I set the camera on various timed exposures (from 30 seconds to 10 seconds) and various intensities in the flashlight.  It was a fun project and I’m happy with how they came out.

  1. Because I am one of them stoic guys you hear about I can’t really squeal like a drunken Barbie, but . . .

. . . man, do those look nice. And, of course, raises light painting in my list of stuff to do.

Thanks; always great to get inspiration.
