Super Bowl is all about the biggest football game of the year, the commercials . . and the food. This year I decided to make Spam Musubi – something that was a common snack when I lived in Hawaii for 25 years. If you want to give it a try, you can find the recipe here. A lot of people will go euuwwwww, but it is really very good.
Along with the Spam Musubi is other normal fare such as buffalo wings and ribs.
And of course, what is the big game without one of the local microbrews.

I grew up in Hawaii and never did get the vibe for Spam. But musubi? Loved it!!!

Great Spam fan here . . . Had a Loco Moco when I was there last (something I wished I’d discovered it sooner).
The dish looks interesting, but I’d probably just have rice and spam.
Rice and spam is good too. We make loco moco at home every once in a while.
I was all day out walking in the mountains…mow I feel that i need to eat,and when i saw these oh…starving 🙂 looks great!
I think they’re pretty tasty.
