Grazing Elk
We saw quite a lot of elk while we were in Canada. This one was grazing in a park in the town of Canmore. We were on a walk along the bow river when we walked by this park. Maralee

Finally, we were able to find a moose (two, in fact) that were grazing close to the side of the road. They were magnificent creatures and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to photograph them close up. Maralee

On our first evening in Jasper, we took a drive up to Maligne Lake as we were told that is a good place to see wildlife. And we did. This grizzly was just off the road in a stream bed drinking water and digging up rocks. He was massive and so beautiful. Just look at …
