It was a beautiful spring day yesterday and I spent a couple of hours at the river enjoying it. There wasn't much bird activity but I did find this one killdeer in the mud flats. Maralee

While watching the Osprey the other day, this mallard (and its mate) walked right in front of me. They were almost too close to get a shot. Maralee
Zorros
I came across this flock of cedar wax wings while walking along the river. They remind me of Zorro with their little black masks around their eyes. Maralee
