Bird Fight

While walking along the river recently, I stopped to take a photo of a tree swallow. Along came a sparrow and chased it off the bird box. Maralee

Swallows

While on the walk with the East Cascades Audubon Society on Friday, we saw three different swallows. They are so fast that it is hard to tell the difference unless you have binoculars. The most common one was the tree swallow, although we also saw barn swallows and violet green swallows. Maralee

Tree Swallow

I love these little birds. I look forward to their return every spring. They are very fast and very difficult to photograph while flying. Maralee

Tree Swallow

I believe this is a tree swallow. I see them everywhere lately.  They are very fast when they're flying. I love their coloring. Maralee
