The world as I see it
I took a couple of photos of the landscape when we were in Klamath taking bird photos. There was so much wide, open space. Driving back that evening we hoped to get some sunset photos. The sunset itself wasn't very impressive but behind us, the colors were beautiful. Maralee
This is a female yellow-headed blackbird. While the male has a very striking yellow head (see my post from May 31st here), the female doesn't have as much yellow in its head. Maralee

The snowy egret is a beautiful medium-sized white heron. In the 19th century, the birds were slaughtered for their plumes, but with protection they recovered fairly rapidly. Maralee
