Juvenile Ring-Billed Gull

I came across this gull swimming by itself on the river. I'm pretty sure its a juvenile ring-billed gull. I don't see too many gulls around here so I enjoyed seeing this one. Maralee

I went back to the river on Saturday and trying to be inconspicuous amongst the duck colony was this ring-billed gull. I understand that they are a very common bird, but this was the first time I've seen one this far inland. Maralee
