The quail have been passing through our yard on a regular basis lately. I've seen babies hiding in the bushes but they haven't come out in the open yet. Maralee
A Really Fat Quail

A Quail “Couple”
This quail "couple" was rolling around in the dirt in our yard and seemed oblivious to the fact that I was sitting about 10 feet away from them. I'm not sure why they roll around in the dirt, but maybe its how they clean themselves. Maralee
