This flicker showed up at my suet feeder briefly. It was early morning and the feeder was still in shadow so it was a little too dark to get a really good photo, but I could still see its yellow tail feathers. Maralee
Heron – Day 42 – A Year of Wildlife
I spotted MyFavoriteHeron on a new rock. This one was right in front of somebody's home. Of course it was on the opposite side of the river. My Sigma 150-500mm lens is coming in handy. Maralee
The Orchestra Conductor – Day 41 – A Year of Wildlife
This goose looked as if it was conducting and orchestra with its wings.
Red-Breasted Nuthatch – Day 40 – a Year of Wildlife
I haven't had many birds at my feeders recently, but this little red-breasted nuthatch has been a regular.
Northern Flicker – Day 39 – A Year of Wildlife
This Northern Flicker was visiting my feeder at the office. Photo is through a window that has a lot of hard water spots that don't come off. Maralee
