I wanted to try to get some photos of the tulips when they opened using backlighting from the sun. We were fortunate to have a couple of beautiful, sunny days. Today there was a lot of sunshine but there was a thin high cloud cover which made for a little more diffused lighting. Maralee

These yellow tulips were from the same bouquet. I liked the fringe on the petals. These just seemed to brighten up the whole room. Maralee

Today's installment of tulips is white tulips. I was trying to photograph white tulips against a white background. I was able to get the tulips white but he background turned gray. So I had to do some adjustments in NIK Viveza to lighten the background a bit. Maralee
