While enjoying sunset at the pier in San Francisco, several pods of pelicans flew by. This particular pod flew right over the Bay Bridge in perfect formation.

During the summer, these beautiful little birds are a common sight in my back yard. They like to take a bath in my water fountain and sometimes I'll have 7 or 8 of the birds bathing at the same time.

This was taken early in the morning. The hummingbird perched on a the metal stand I use for the hummingbird feeder. He landed in a spot in front of a break in the tree with a bright area behind it.
