The Return of Zorro(s)

One of my favorite spring birds is the masked cedar wax wing. I hadn't seen any yet this spring so I was pleasantly surprised to find a tree of Zorros on my walk yesterday. It was a gorgeous 73 degree day . . . perfect for a walk along the river. Maralee

This past weekend I went for a walk along Tumalo Creek at Shevlin Park. While I didn't encounter many birds, it sure was a beautiful walk along the river and among the trees. There are a lot of majestic ponderosa pines with a few burnt out skeletons.  Along the creek there are plenty of old …
