Ice

On Friday we had a lot of heavy, wet snow. Once it stopped, it cleared up, got very cold, and everything froze. I took a walk just before sunset and photographed some of the frozen ice on the trees. While it was difficult to walk on the icy pathways, it was very pretty. Maralee

Another Kinglet

These little kinglets are the cutest little birds. They're tiny - they only weigh about 1/2 oz. I wish it would stay still long enough for me to get a really focused shot of it. Maralee

Starling

I put a fruit and nut wreath in the tree outside my office window that the birds have been enjoying  This is the first starling I've seen at the feeder this year. Maralee
