There is something about watching a sunset on a beach that compels people to watch. Maybe it's the peacefulness. Maybe it's the sheer beauty. Whatever it is, I was there almost every night watching the sun go down. Maralee
Pali Overlook, Oahu
The best view of Oahu's North/East coastline is from the Pali Overlook. You can see the coastline from Kailua, Kaneohe and to the north shore. It is often very windy at the overlook, but this time it was relatively calm. There are also many very colorful chickens running around. I guess they are truly free …
Oahu Sunset
I took this photo with my iPhone. I also took a series of photos from this sunset with my Nikon so I'll be curious to see how those compare to this once I get around to processing them. I'll let you know. Maralee
