Another bird I don't see here in Oregon is the snowy egret. I saw a number of them while we were driving around the Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve and Ecological Reserve. Again, these birds where quite a distance away and it was difficult to take decent photographs of them. These are very highly cropped. …
