2016 Birds in Review
Today I will celebrate 5 years of this blog. Tomorrow I start year 6. I have gravitated towards photographing birds the last couple of years and thought I would end this year with a compilation of some of the birds I photographed this year. Ice
On Friday we had a lot of heavy, wet snow. Once it stopped, it cleared up, got very cold, and everything froze. I took a walk just before sunset and photographed some of the frozen ice on the trees. While it was difficult to walk on the icy pathways, it was very pretty. Maralee
Another Kinglet
These little kinglets are the cutest little birds. They're tiny - they only weigh about 1/2 oz. I wish it would stay still long enough for me to get a really focused shot of it. Maralee
